Keep T-shirt shape and artwork in separate columns
| Compare | Record or ask | How to use the answer |
|---|---|---|
| Proportions | Garment chest width and body length | Use a T-shirt you own as a comparison measured in the same way. |
| Artwork | Front design, back design and placement | A front-only image leaves the back design unconfirmed. |
| Fabric information | Stated composition and any stated fabric weight | Do not turn a close-up or a brand field into a claim about feel or thickness. |
A practical decision: Two black logo tees may have different lengths or back prints. Check those fields separately before treating a similar thumbnail as the same design.
Start with the length and width you want
Decide whether you need a shorter, regular-length or longer top. Compare the listing’s garment dimensions with a T-shirt you already use. Nike’s tops chart is a body-measurement reference, so do not compare a full body circumference with a flat garment width as if they were the same measurement.
Check the front and the back design
Look for both sides when the listing advertises a graphic. Record whether you want a plain back, a back print or a particular placement. If the only image shows the front, the back design remains unconfirmed. Do not fill in missing details from a similarly named listing.

A plain-looking example still needs a confirmed back view and size information.

Open listing details ↗Keep color and fabric claims separate
A photo is useful for understanding the advertised color and visible outline, but lighting can change how a shade appears. Material composition and fabric weight need their own listing information. A clear close-up still cannot tell you exactly how a T-shirt will feel after wear or washing.
Use the product page to resolve the remaining questions
Open the matching variation to check its current size, color and price. If available photos belong to a different variation, do not treat them as evidence for yours. Ask about missing measurements before deciding, and keep product payment separate from the eventual parcel cost.
