Identify the kind of link you have
A spreadsheet page, a source listing and an agent product page have different roles. Keep their addresses separate in your notes so that you can trace the item rather than repeatedly copying a page that only describes it.
- 01Identify
Discovery page → source or agent page
- 02Match
Exact option → quantity → included pieces
- 03Confirm
Resolve open details → record the choice
| Link or page | What it can help you identify | What still needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadsheet or discovery page | A category, item reference or route to another page. | The current seller, selected option and payable amount. |
| Original marketplace listing | The source item and its advertised options. | Whether the item can be ordered and the required option is available. |
| Agent product page | The item information and choices presented for an order. | That it matches the intended source and variation. |
| Album or reference image | The advertised appearance or a model reference. | A usable ordering reference, exact option and confirmed price. |
Use the ordering route described for the source
LitBuy’s shopping guide describes pasting Taobao, Weidian and 1688 product links into its search bar. It directs users to Fill & Buy for platforms that cannot be searched directly, giving Yupoo and Goofish (Xianyu) as examples. This describes the published workflow; it does not prove that every item from those sources is purchasable. Check the result before moving to payment.
Match the item after the page opens
Read the current title and options, then compare the source reference, color, size, quantity and included pieces with what you intended to buy. If a page contains several versions, record the exact option text. A photograph of a matching top and trousers does not, by itself, establish that the selected option includes both. Save a dated reference to the chosen option rather than relying on the thumbnail alone.
Prepare a clear Fill & Buy request
The official guide asks users to enter product details accurately and provides a message field for special instructions. Prepare enough information to distinguish your item from other versions. A manual request does not settle an unknown price or prove availability; ask for unresolved details to be confirmed before authorizing the purchase.
| Prepare | Useful detail |
|---|---|
| Source reference | The exact product address or ordering reference you can supply. |
| Chosen version | Color, size, quantity and the option text shown on the source. |
| Included items | One piece, a pair, a pack or a set; note any accessory that matters. |
| Price and seller delivery | Record the confirmed amounts and currency; leave unknown amounts unresolved. |
| Instructions | State what needs clarification and whether any substitution requires your approval. |
When a saved link no longer opens
First distinguish an inaccessible page from a confirmed unavailable item. Record the address and the message you see; that alone may not establish why it failed. Return to the relevant category or full spreadsheet to look for another current reference. Compare the replacement from the beginning, including source, option and price. Do not describe a similar-looking result as the same seller or version without evidence.
Ask one question that can be answered
Use the following wording when the source or option remains unclear. Replace the brackets with the details you have. Keep the answer alongside the chosen listing so that a later comparison has the same reference.
Keep a short record for the next stage
Once the option and charge are clear, save the source address, selected option and confirmation date. Later, compare the order record and available warehouse photos with that same choice. This avoids using one source image to judge an order for a different variation. The order-status and QC guides explain those later checks.
